About Hong Kong
Hong
Kong is one of the two special administrative regions (SARs) of the
People's
Republic of China (PRC). Close to the other SAR, namely Macau, the
territory of
Hong Kong , comprises of over 260 outlying islands, the Hong Kong
Island, the
Kowloon Peninsula and the New Territories.
Being
one of the world's most liberal cities in economy and a global centre of
finance
and trade. Hong Kong is China's richest region in terms of GPD per
capita and gross
metropolitan product
figures.

Geographically, Hong Kong is situated on the eastern banks
of the Pearl River Delta
at the South China border and connects to Guangdong
Province
and
the Shenzhen
Special Economic Zone. The total surface area Hong Kong is about 1100 Km2.

Climate
of Hong Kong is subtropical
and prone to monsoon shot, humid and rainy from spring through summer. It
is warm,
sunny, and dry in autumn. Hong Kong occasionally has typhoons
in the summer and in early autumn. Its climate is seasonal
due to alternating
wind directions between winter and summer. Flora and fauna in Hong Kong change
with climatic condition,
sea level and human impact.

highest recorded temperature in Hong Kong is 36.1¢XC while the lowest recorded
temperature is 0.0¢XC. The average
temperature in the coldest month, January,
is 15.8¢XC while the average temperature in the hottest month, July, is 28.8¢XC.
In November, the temperature is ranged from 15-20¢XC.
